Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter “the Terms”) set forth the conditions for use of Manako (hereinafter “the Service”). By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to the Terms.

  • “User”: An individual or legal entity registered with the Service
  • “Team”: The organizational unit to which a User belongs
  • “Monitor”: A URL, hostname, etc. registered as a monitoring target

The Service provides the following features:

  • HTTP/HTTPS uptime monitoring
  • Cron/Heartbeat monitoring
  • Web change detection
  • Incident detection and notifications (Email, Slack, Webhook)
  • Public status pages
  • REST API / MCP Server / CLI
  1. A valid email address is required for account registration
  2. Password management is the responsibility of the User
  3. A single User is prohibited from creating multiple free accounts
  4. If you discover unauthorized use of your account, please promptly notify us
  1. Free plan: Free (up to 5 monitors, check intervals of 5 minutes or more)
  2. Paid plans: Based on prices listed on the pricing page of the Service website
  3. Payments are processed through Stripe. Credit card information is not stored on the Service’s servers
  4. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. The billing date is based on the contract start date
  5. Plan downgrades or cancellations can be made up to the day before the next billing date
  6. Refunds are generally not provided, except as required by law

The following activities are prohibited:

  1. Unauthorized access to third-party networks using the Service
  2. Attempting SSRF (Server-Side Request Forgery) against internal networks or private IP addresses
  3. Unauthorized access to other Users’ data
  4. Intentionally causing service overload or deliberately circumventing API rate limits
  5. Monitoring systems or services for which you do not have authorization
  6. Illegal activities using the Service
  7. Automated scraping (excluding API usage)
  8. Transferring or selling API Keys to third parties
  9. Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Service

All intellectual property rights related to the Service (software, designs, logos, documentation, etc.) belong to us. Rights to data registered by Users in the Service belong to the Users.

Article 7 (Service Suspension and Interruption)

  1. We may temporarily suspend the Service in the following cases:
    • System maintenance and updates
    • Force majeure events such as natural disasters or power outages
    • Cloudflare infrastructure failures
  2. Planned maintenance will be notified in advance
  1. The Service is provided “as is”
  2. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of monitoring
  3. We are not responsible for notification delays or failures to deliver
  4. We shall not be liable, to the maximum extent permitted by law, for any damages arising from the use of the Service (including missed monitoring, notification delays, data loss, etc.)

Except in cases of our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, liability for compensation is limited to direct damages and capped at the total service fees paid by the User to the Service in the preceding 12 months.

  1. User data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy
  2. Upon account deletion, related data will be deleted within 30 days
  3. This does not apply to data that must be retained by law
  1. Users may delete their account and terminate use of the Service at any time
  2. In case of violation of the Terms, we may suspend or delete the account without prior notice

Article 12 (Exclusion of Anti-Social Forces)

Users represent and warrant that they are not affiliated with anti-social forces.

  1. We may change the Terms
  2. Significant changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance
  3. Continued use after changes are made shall be deemed as consent to the changes

Article 14 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. The Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan
  2. In the event of a dispute, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance
