SSL Certificate Monitor

Monitors SSL/TLS certificate expiration dates. Provides staged warnings as expiration approaches, helping prevent certificate renewal oversights.

Warning days can be set between 1 and 365 days, with multiple thresholds.

Status Determination

Status	Condition
Up	Certificate expiration has sufficient margin (beyond the highest warning threshold)
Degraded	Expiration is within a warning day threshold
Down	Certificate has expired, or no certificate was found

Check Interval

SSL certificate monitors check once every 24 hours. This is the same across all plans.

Tip

Even with auto-renewing certificates like Let’s Encrypt, monitoring is recommended in case the renewal process fails. The default warning days (30, 14, 7, and 1 days before expiration) are sufficient for most cases.
