Team Management
Manako manages monitors and data per team. This guide covers member invitations and permissions.
Roles and Permissions
Section titled “Roles and Permissions”| Role | Capabilities |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including team settings, member management, invitations, and IP restrictions |
| Member | Create and edit monitors, notifications, services, etc. |
| Viewer | Read-only |
Inviting Members
Section titled “Inviting Members”- Open Settings → Team (owners only)
- In the invitation section, specify an email address and role, then “Create invitation”
- Leave the email blank to generate a link-only invitation not tied to an address
- Share the generated invitation link
- The recipient opens the link and joins with an existing account or creates a new one
- Invitation links are valid for 7 days and single-use
- Pending invitations can be revoked from the list
Changing Roles and Removing Members
Section titled “Changing Roles and Removing Members”Owners can change roles and remove members from the member list, with these safeguards:
- The last owner cannot be demoted or removed (so the team never becomes unmanageable)
- You cannot change your own role
- Removing yourself from the team logs you out automatically
Multiple Teams
Section titled “Multiple Teams”One account can belong to multiple teams (the limit depends on your plan). Monitors, notifications, and plans are fully independent per team.
Time Zone
Section titled “Time Zone”Set the team time zone in Settings → Team. When unset, the browser’s time zone is used.
IP Address Restrictions (Business)
Section titled “IP Address Restrictions (Business)”Restrict dashboard access to specific IP addresses (CIDR supported, up to 50 entries). Enable “Apply to API access” to extend the restriction to the Public API.
See the settings screen reference for field details.
